The research aimed to evaluate the effects of insecticides/nematicides interaction, applied at planting groove, and herbicides in pre and post-emergence, in the initial stage of sugarcane crop. The experimental design for pre and post emergency conditions was randomized complete blocks with three replications distributed into split plot, with insecticides located in the plots and herbicides in the splits. Studied inseticides were carbofuran (2100 g ha-1) and aldicarb (1500 g ha-1) and the herbicides in pre emergency conditions were tebuthiuron (1000 g ha-1), diuron+hexazinone (702+198 g ha-1), diuron+hexazinone (936+264 g ha-1), ametryn+trifloxysulfuron-sodium (1097+27.8 g ha-1) + diuron+hexazinone (702+198 g ha-1), ametryn+trifloxysulfuron-sodium (1097+27.8 g ha-1) + metribuzin (960 g ha-1). Herbicides applied in post emergency were diuron+hexazinone (936+264 g ha-1), diuron+hexazinone (936+264 g ha-1) + mesotrione (120 g ha-1), metribuzin (960 g ha-1), metribuzin (1440 g ha-1) + mesotrione (120 g ha-1), all added to mineral oil. It was concluded that didn’t occur synergistic interactions between insecticides/nematicides and herbicides since the products did not interfere significantly in crop initial development.
