The application of herbicides with adjuvants can improve the efficiency of weed control such as Digitaria insularis L., which causes losses in several agricultural crops due to its high competitiveness and difficulty in control. This study aimed to evaluate the synergism of the adjuvant SinerMax® associated with the herbicides clethodim, glyphosate and haloxyfop-methyl in the control of bitter grass (Digitaria insularis L). The experiment was conducted between September and October 2018. The experimental design used was the randomized blocks in a 3×2 + 1 factorial scheme with 5 replications, with treatments with clethodim 240 g L-1 of ia, (0.45 L ha-1), glyphosate 480 g L-1 ia (4 L ha-1) and haloxyfop-methyl124.7 g L-1 ia (0.5 L ha-1) associated or not with the adjuvant SinerMax® (0,5 L ha-1) and the control treatment without use of herbicide, being evaluated the absence of apparent damage, the complete death of the plant and dry matter of the plants. The data obtained were subjected to analysis of variance and the means compared by the Scott-Knott test at 5% probability. The haloxyfop- P- methyl and glyfosate herbicides have the best levels of control of Digitaria insularis L., with higher phytotoxicity (between 60 and 90%) and less dry matter accumulation compared to the control treatment. The adjuvant SinerMax® associated with the herbicides glyphosate, haloxyfop-methyl and clethodim did not result in greater control efficiency of D. insularis L.
