As Weed Control Journal is Open Access to the readers the journal charges the authors an article processing charge (APC) to cover the cost of publication. The APC will be calculated based on the Microsoft™ Word formatted page (Final number of pages for the proofreading version), where the values are presented in Table 1. The journal uses the final proofreading version of the manuscript as a base to calculate the APC for two reasons: 1) speed up the publication process; 2) allow the authors to estimate the APC before submission.
For members of the Brazilian Weed Science Society (SBCPD), discount on the APC is provided. It should be noted that in order to be entitled to the referred discount, both the first author and the corresponding author must be members of the SBCPD, being in default with the values of the annuity. The APC will be charged after the final approval of proofreading version.
Table 1. Article processing charge.

| International Authors | APC is $ 60.00 (Sixty United State Dollars) per article. |
