Control of RR® volunteer corn with glyphosate + quizalofop-p-tefuril in tank mixture with multifunctional adjuvants or oils
The objective of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the glyphosate + quizalofop-p-tefuril in tank mixture with multifunctional adjuvants or oils for the control of RR® corn. The experiment was conducted over greenhouse conditions. The treatments were arranged in a factorial design 11 x 2, with six replications. The treatments consisted of factor A, applying glyphosate + quizalofop-p-tefuril (1080 g a.e. + 36 g a.i. ha-1 – T1) and associations of this with adjuvants, at doses of: 150 mL ha-1 TA-35® (T2); 150 mL ha-1 Orobor N1® (T3); 300 mL ha-1 LI 700® (T4); 100 mL ha-1 Triumph Flex® (T5); 100 mL ha-1 AllerBiw® (T6); 1000 mL ha-1 Fulltec® (T7); 1000 mL ha-1 Joint Oil® (T8); 1000 mL ha-1 Aureo® (T9); 1000 mL ha-1 Assist® (T10); plus a check without application (T11), and the factor B, corn hybrids DKB 240 RR PRO2® and DKB 245 RR®. The hybrids showed distinct symptoms at 7 days after application, regardless of the adjuvant used. DKB 240 RR PRO2® presented chlorosis, onset of necrosis of the edges of the leaves and only a few plants with reddish pigmentation, different from DKB 245 RR®, where there was more widespread reddening and necrosis of tips and edges of the leaves. No significant differences were observed in control of the hybrids using glyphosate + quizalofop-p-tefuril, associated with multifunctional adjuvants, mineral and/or vegetable oils.
