Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (2009) and a Master’s degree in Agronomy from the Graduate Program in Agronomy at Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (2012). Earned a Ph.D. in Crop Science from the Graduate Program in Crop Science at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2016), with an emphasis on weed science. Currently serves as a professor of Weed Biology and Management at Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa (UEPG), and teaches Weed Science in the Graduate Program in Agronomy at Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL). His research focuses on herbicide resistance mechanisms in weed species, herbicide resistance in weeds, the effects of herbicide mixtures on weed control, chemical weed control and herbicide selectivity in crops, environmental factors affecting herbicide efficiency, and the application of nanotechnology in weed management.
